Opening Pictures of St Mark’s
It has been wonderful to be back in the church building and here are some pictures of the last month.
On Sunday 18 May we welcomed Rt Revd John Armes, Bishop of Edinburgh – he celebrated and preached for our first Sunday back in the church.
On Saturday 21 June, we held a Community Open Day, when over 200 from all over the Central Belt came to celebrate the beauty of the space. The Feast for Life Choir sang, we had solo pieces from Rhona Pryce (cello) and Jean Smithson (organ) …. and lots of coffee and cake. A true celebration.
On Saturday 12 July, we welcomed the Edinburgh Jazz and Blues Festival to St Mark’s – showcasing this amazing space for concerts. We hope the first of many!
