St Mark’s will host an art exhibition of local art 11-13 September 2026. This is open to artists (amateur and professional) who live / work in Portobello and Musselburgh.

This is our sixth exhibition and we invite local artists to display and sell (if they would like) their work. We invite all forms of visual art – including (but not confined to) painting, photography, drawing, sculpture, silverwork, glasswork, ceramic ….
The deadline for notification that you would like to display is Sunday 31 August 2026. To notify us please email us with the following information for each piece:
- Artist
- Name of work
- Medium
- Whether you are selling / how much (St Mark’s will retain 25% of all sales)
- How big the work is
The curation of the exhibition is solely the reserve of St Marks. We reserve the right not to display any item that is not presented suitably, or if it is inappropriate, if there is insufficient space or in the interests of balance. We will attempt to display at least one item from each artist, multiple items will be at our discretion.
