Week for Prayer for Christian Unity
A few weeks after the week for Christian Unity, the churches of Portobello are gathering for short prayers and a simple lunch every day at each of the churches – you would be very welcome to join us.
Ash Wednesday 2024
Ash Wednesday marks the beginning of Lent. During our two communion services on Ash Wednesday we will have the opportunity to receive the sign of the cross marked in ash, as we remember our mortality, our need for God’s grace and the abundance of God’s love for us. All are welcome!

Quiet Day to start Advent
All are very welcome to our Quiet Day – a space to stop, to look back, to encounter God … 9.30-1pm Saturday 25th November. Bring sandwiches so that we can finish with lunch together.
