Advent and Christmas 2021

During Advent we take time to prepare our hearts to welcome God, looking forward to the time when all things will be gathered up in God’s love.

At Christmas we celebrate that God came to us 2000 years ago not in grandeur and noise, but in a small village, where there was no room for a young couple to sleep. There God became a human being, being born as a vulnerable baby.

If you’d like to see some of the ways we’ve celebrated this season in the past, please see our Advent and Christmas Gallery.

Christmas – we aim to mark those services marked with asterisk available on Zoom as well as in person

Let’s help each other this year … as we gather

  • You do not need to book a seat to come to a service, however we have fewer chairs available than we would normally have, with distance between them. This means that there may be a time when we are ‘full’.
  • We will take contact details for Track and Trace Scotland
  • Face coverings (nose and mouth) must be worn at all times unless you are exempt.
  • Hand sanitiser is widely available around the church
  • We strongly encourage you to take a lateral flow test before you come and do not come if it is positive or if you have any symptoms that could be associated with Covid.
