Content Manager
Upload all your digital content to the central SOLUS Server using our Content Manager. The SOLUS Server will encode and store all your media content. The complex process of encoding is managed behind the scenes, configuring content to play on your chosen display technologies. Once you have chosen what format your production will be on; Screen, Web, Desktop, Mobile or Pod, SOLUS will encode and optimise the file for maximum viewing quality on the chosen platform. This requires no technical knowledge at your end as the SOLUS Server takes care of it all.
SOLUS handles all digital media content, including flash, Powerpoint, jpegs, GIF’s, Bitmaps, TIFF, DivX, HTML Webpages, MPEG, Quicktime AVI, Windows Media files. SOLUS also supports High Definition (HD) content.
In the case of Web TV the SOLUS Server will encode video content to both video and flash technologies ensuring all main browser types (Internet Explorer, Safari, Firefox, etc) will run the content on Microsoft, Linux or Apple operating systems. It will also encode for the slowest and fastest bandwidth settings ultimately providing the viewer with the highest quality video that they can receive.
SOLUS Content Manager allows you to configure digital TV feeds. If you have purchased SOLUS Screen and wish to incorporate digital TV then you can schedule this content just like any other media file.
As well as standard TV aerial feeds the SOLUS technology will work well with IPTV, TV over network technology. We can assist with the specification of this technology should you require.
