Channel Manager
Choose where to broadcast the content you’ve uploaded to the Content Manager with our Channel Manager. Using SOLUS’s powerful scheduling software you will be able, with only a few mouse clicks, to broadcast to all, or part, of your whole network. Actual broadcasting to your SOLUS Screen, Web or Desktop network can commence within a few minutes.
This process can be repeated infinitely, ultimately creating a vast broadcast playlist. Forward scheduling allows you to plan your broadcasts in advance, giving you the power to load up the network with content, knowing the broadcasts will start the instant you want them to.
You can independently control SOLUS Screens, Web and Desktop, meaning you can have screens in different areas playing different schedules; and the same or independent schedules playing on SOLUS Web or Desktop. This is beneficial if your content is geography specific, or if the viewing demographics are different in each facility. In some cases it may be appropriate to have a longer playlist.
SOLUS – Network Control and Feedback Systems
In addition to scheduling, the channel manager contains a comprehensive network health and remote control system. This allows SOLUS administrators to control the on/off times, volume and screen layout configuration. If you choose to lock down the screens then the channel manager will be the only place to control these functions. This is useful in public spaces and will ensure you do not experience any unwanted screen tampering. The channel manager will also provide a full screen health report, assuring you that your system is delivering to your instructions. This will report incidences of loss of power to screen, lack of network connection and advise if content items fail to display correctly. All this means that you do not need to physically see your screens to know they are working.
