SOLUS Health

This integrated package has been developed exclusively for the UK Health Market with key benefits at all tiers from individual surgery, through Primary Care, Acute Care, and NHS Board level.

SOLUS Screen is at the forefront of Health Communication, facilitating the broadcast of highly engaging public information to patients, visitors and staff in the busiest areas of key health facilities.

  • Health Promotion Messages – Reaching key groups, areas, demographics
  • Local Facility/Practise Information
  • Infection Prevention and Patient Safety – e.g. Hand washing
  • Positive PR – e.g. Reduced waiting times, key achievements
  • Service Announcements – e.g. New opening hours, location changes
  • Public Consultation – e.g. “Care to Comment”, “Public Partnership Forums” and service feedback questionnaires
  • Waiting Room Entertainment – RSS news, weather and sports headlines and TV e.g. CBeebies, News 24
  • Respect Messaging – e.g. Reduce no show appointments and staff abuse
  • Local Warnings – e.g. No smoking, mobile phones and exit signage
  • National NHS TV Campaigns
  • Ancillary and Front of House Staff Messaging

  • Recruitment Advertising – Reduce spend on commercial advertising
  • Information currently displayed on Posters, Leaflet Racks and Notice Boards

The scheduling flexibility provided by SOLUS Health fits perfectly with the tiered organisation of health provision in any area. For example, at practise level, a Practise Manager would be given access to upload content to the screen in their practise. At PCT/CHP level, a Communications Manager would be given access to upload content to all screens in their area, while at board level, access would be given to schedule content to all screens in the NHS Trust.

A board or PCT/CHP level approach is not always feasible or desired and SOLUS Health provides the same communication benefits at an individual facility level.

In addition to SOLUS Screen, SOLUS Web, Desktop, Mobile and Pod all have applications within the Health Sector and to find out more, or to set up a demonstration of SOLUS Screen, please contact health@solus.co.uk or 01355 813 600.
